Eurofase EF15 is a 39-inch, 1500W / 120V single-element medium-wave infrared heater for smaller residential and commercial heating areas. Choose Black, Stainless Steel or White in the standard 304 stainless-steel heater body. Unlike EF40, EF50 and EF60, this model is designed for a 120V supply; heater and control equipment must be engineered for its exact load.

Dealer project selection and safe controls
The EF15 is a fixed-installation heater, not a general-purpose plug-in appliance. Confirm branch-circuit sizing, suitable disconnect/protective devices, manufacturer clearances, and applicable Canadian Electrical Code requirements with a licensed electrician. Do not assume that an existing shared 120V circuit is sufficient for the 12.5A load.
Lutron RadioRA 2 / RadioRA 3: This EF15 is not automatically compatible with any line-voltage dimmer, RF lighting module or 240V Eurofase control setup. Project-specific switching and control designs need exact Eurofase and Lutron validation. For larger controlled heating projects, compare the Eurofase Universal Relay Control Box with manufacturer confirmation of this specific 120V model.
For higher-output designs, compare EF40 4000W, EF50 5000W and EF60 6000W; these require different supply and installation configurations.

Finish the EF15 project — mounting and wiring options
For an approved flat-ceiling recessed design, see the Eurofase 39-inch flush-mount frame. Its manufacturer kit includes a short high-temperature whip; choose a separately sold EFHTW 4-wire connection whip only where a longer 4-wire connection is specified by the qualified installer. The existing 3-wire EFHTW-C control-box whips are a different conductor configuration.
For an alternative high or sloped-ceiling installation, consider the EFSMKB telescoping suspension kit; the 66-inch suspension extension is a separate accessory. Suspension mounting and recessed mounting are alternative installation methods, not components to combine automatically.
Control equipment is project-specific; confirm supply voltage, relay/control ratings and protective devices separately before specifying automated heater operation.
Project add-ons: cover and control selection
For seasonal protection, consider the Eurofase protective cover, selecting exact EF39CVRB for the EF15 manufacturer heater family. Turn off the breaker, allow the heater to cool and remove the cover before operation. For switching, automation or timer operation, select a manufacturer-supported control pathway verified for the EF15 voltage and heater arrangement. Do not assume an EFIK smart controller is suitable for every voltage.
