SKU:EFURCB24M1
Eurofase EFURCB24 is the Canadian-made Universal Relay Control Box family for professionally engineered infrared-heating zones, proportional 0–10 V dimming and compatible external automation control. Choose 1 through 6 zones. Five- and six-zone units use larger manufacturer enclosures than the 1–4-zone models. These are 120–240 V heater-side control boxes; the separate EFURCB48 variants are for higher-voltage commercial applications and are not included in this listing.

When to select EFURCB rather than the EFCB contactor box
EFURCB is the manufacturer pathway for an engineered system requiring proportional heater output, separate heat zones and properly specified external 0–10 V control. The EFCB24 contactor family is the simpler on/off equipment family; its rated zone and controller architecture differ. An EFURCB zone is not merely an EFCB contactor operated by a wall dimmer.
Lutron RadioRA 3 and third-party automation
Eurofase illustrates the 0–10 V relay-box architecture for compatible external automation. Some professionally installed RadioRA 3 systems can provide a 0–10 V signal through an appropriate Lutron interface; however, that is a conceptual control path, not a verified drop-in wiring diagram. Confirm the Lutron module's signal characteristics, any required signal isolation/switching, the EFURCB control input, emergency or manual disconnect and separate heater-load circuitry with both manufacturers and a qualified installer. A Lutron signal module must not carry a heater's mains load.
Critical installation precautions
The 2026 Eurofase manual requires a licensed electrician, grounded and fixed equipment, a readily accessible disconnect in building wiring, correctly separated power and control-signal conductors, properly sized overcurrent protection, heat-tolerant vertical mounting and protection of all incoming cables. Control boxes generate heat during dimming: do not block, cover or obstruct the heat sinks or fan ventilation, or enclose the equipment in an unventilated cavity. Verify the final indoor/outdoor site against NEMA 4 limitations and local electrical rules. The manual warns that a failed switching device can remain energized; appropriate separate protective measures may be required.
Supported heater families and sizing
The Eurofase EF40, EF50 and EF60 dual-element series appear in the manufacturer's example EFURCB wiring diagrams. A single EF40 represents approximately 16.7 A at 240 V, while a single EF60 is 25 A at 240 V. Zone capacity, heater count and dimming behaviour are determined by the exact approved control-box connections and branch circuits; do not assume that the maximum 50 A zone rating permits two arbitrary heaters without verifying the manufacturer drawing and electrical code.
What is included and excluded
The EFURCB installation guide illustrates one control box, the manufacturer's instruction book, a wiring diagram and a safety sheet. Heaters, third-party automation interfaces, dimmer/timer switches, upstream disconnects, independent high-temperature connection whips and site wiring are not automatically included. For eligible control-box connections see the Eurofase EFHTW C-Series high-temperature whip family, with exact conductor requirements verified for each arrangement.

Common dealer questions
Is EFURCB24M4 four heaters? No. M4 denotes four independent zones; the number of heaters permitted per zone requires a model-specific load and wiring design.
Does the 0–10 V signal switch mains power? No. The control signal is a separate interface; follow Eurofase's wiring and the approved disconnect/isolation plan.
Can an installer simply connect an RA3 0–10 V module? Not without confirming the exact Eurofase input, external signal device and all electrical conditions.

5- and 6-zone control-box specifications
Eurofase EFURCB24M5 and EFURCB24M6 are large-project 120–240 V control models. The 2025 manufacturer's 5/6-zone sheet lists a 0–10 V DC proportional control input, 50 A maximum per zone, 250 A and 300 A aggregate nameplate maximums, and surface-mounted NEMA 4 enclosures approximately 22 × 24 × 6 in. The six-zone model has heat sinks on both sides. These maximums do not establish approved continuous branch-circuit loading, connected heater quantity, feeder design, or compatibility for a particular project.
Both variants are special-order project controls: confirm current manufacturing availability, complete installation diagrams, electrical service and zone allocations before release. Do not presume either variant is included in any Eurofase two-heater bundle.

RadioRA 2 / RadioRA 3 project control pathway
The Lutron LMJ-5T-DV-B 0–10 V RF dimming module is specifically shown with a Eurofase Universal Relay Control Box in Eurofase's 2024 RadioRA 2 integration guide. Lutron confirms this module is also supported in RadioRA 3, so it is a priority companion component for RadioRA 3 projects. The complete Eurofase/RadioRA 3 system is not independently certified by those two documents.
The Lutron module provides the control signal only; the EFURCB switches or controls the separately protected heater circuits. Do not connect a heater's 240 V mains load directly to the Lutron LMJ, which has a 5 A lighting switching rating. Confirm manufacturer wiring, source/sink compatibility, shutoff and safety requirements, visibility and local electrical code before commissioning. This is not a pre-engineered kit.

Complete the control system
Eurofase EFSWTD1–4 timer/dimmer wall controls supply one countdown timer plus 1–4 wall dimmer controls, and the EFSWT countdown timer is also available for an appropriate control-box circuit. The wall controls are not included with the EFURCB. Choose the M1–M6 relay box by engineered zones, not automatically by heater count. Use Lutron 0–10V integration as a distinct control-signal design path; do not assume both Eurofase manual dimming and Lutron modules are required in the same project.
All control strategies require Eurofase wiring review, electrician approval and an appropriate safe shutoff.
