Rack-first, high-density distributed audio. (Dealer Exclusive)
A multi-zone streaming amplifier built for professional racks: 4 independent zones, 8 amplified outputs, and 125W RMS continuous per channel @ 8Ω (all channels driven)—all control and configuration handled in the Sonos app.
Ideal for: distributed audio racks, high-zone-count homes, MDU, and commercial background music where clean wiring, scalable zoning, and predictable thermal planning matter.
GaN + fanless convection cooling
Designed for rack density: high efficiency, less wasted heat, and no fan noise/dust/failure point.
ProTune™ + Optimize Sonos Speakers
Manual, per-output tuning for low-impedance passive speakers and real rooms. With Sonos Architectural speakers, enable Optimize Sonos Speakers for custom tuning/DSP.
Outputs assignable to match real rooms
Allocate more outputs to big zones and fewer to small zones—without “one amp per stereo pair” constraints.
System design: outputs → zones → streams
Assign the eight amplified outputs across up to four zones. When configured as four zones, each zone can run its own stream (AirPlay 2 / Spotify Connect / Sonos app playback).
- Per unit: up to 4 zones
- System max: 32 zones total (example: 8 units × 4 zones = 32)
- Max units in a single zone: up to 16 units when wired via Ethernet (subject to overall 32-zone max)
- Fewer zones configured → fewer concurrent stream options visible
- Example: single large zone → single AirPlay 2 option
- One Sonos Sub per zone (up to 4 total: Sub 4 / Sub (Gen 3) / Sub Mini)
- The subwoofer output port supports a powered third-party sub and can be assigned to a zone in the Sonos app
- Assign in app: Zone Settings → Connect Sub
