The XK-3640 Reader-Keypad is a near-field partner for AWID’s UHF long-range readers, using the same hand-held cards and tags. The XK-3640 can be mounted beside a door or turnstile. Every card read and keypad entry is announced by the 2-color LED and beeper. With its attractive design and durable construction, the XK-3640 is a good solution for both upscale residences and tough industrial environments. Its read range of up to 6 inches assures single-card reads when pedestrian traffic is heavy. The XK-3640’s quality and performance deliver high value in indoor and outdoor applications. Combinations of card reads and keypad inputs are programmed in the access control system’s software.
