By using the tree light mounting canopy and hardware you can prevent damage to the tree and effectively install your light. When the mounting hardware is properly installed, it creates at least an inch of space between the bark and mounting canopy. This prevents the growth of mold that can damage trees and also keeps the tree from growing over the mount.

This solid bronze quick-release Tree Mounting Canopy is included with the CAST Tree Light. It is also available as a separate accessory.
