Important Compatibility Notes

• Stereo pairing: Two Sonos Play speakers can be stereo paired while connected to your home WiFi network.
• Not for Sonos home theater surrounds: Portable Sonos speakers cannot be used as rear surrounds in a Sonos home theater system.
• Does not pair with Sonos Sub: Sonos Play is designed for portable use and is not intended to bond with a Sonos subwoofer.
• Bluetooth grouping after setup: After first being set up in the Sonos app, you can group up to four Sonos Play speakers from the same household outside your home WiFi network.
• Line-in requires Sonos adapter: For 3.5 mm audio sources such as turntables or computers, use the Sonos Line-In Adapter and a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable (sold separately).
