Choose the correct L2F-SDT fixture: 40 orderable SKUs

The variant selectors specify trim finish, optic/beam and CRI. These selections produce 40 manufacturer SKUs with distinct barcodes, not a made-up combination matrix. Always order the complete selected part number rather than the L2F-SDT family prefix alone.

• Five finishes: White (WH), Black (BK), Oil Rubbed Bronze (BR; called Bronze in the product selector), Alzak (AZ), and White/Black Duo (WB).
• Four orderable optics: RC20 = clear-glass reflector 20°; RF30 = frosted-glass reflector 30°; RC40 = clear-glass reflector 40°; RF40 = frosted-glass reflector 40°. No RC30 or RF20 variants are present in this product's supplied orderable range.
• Two LED grades: 5C95 (CRI95) and 5C98 (CRI98). Both include field-selectable 5CCT: 2700, 3000, 3500, 4000, 5000K. CRI is fixed by the ordered hardware SKU, not by changing the Kelvin switch.

Model-specific technical specifications

Important: This is the square fixed L2F-SDT, not the square L2G-SRT gimbal. It has a different required cutout and 4-inch overhead clearance, compared with the L2G-SRT gimbal's 3-inch space requirement.

Choose a compatible KVE dimmable driver — separately sold

The fixture's 24V DC constant-voltage requirement means it must not be connected directly to mains voltage. The separately ordered Lotus KVE-24xxx-TMWJ1-VA 5-in-1 driver is specified for 120–277V AC line input and provides the appropriate 24V supply. Find compatible Lotus Mini Tangra 24V KVE drivers. A driver is not included in the fixture price. The manufacturer limits are model-specific, and final supported quantities also depend on cable length, voltage drop, dimmer/control compatibility and electrical design. Do not use the higher fixture-count figures from the 5W L1F-RDT.

Square opening, clearance and rough-in accessory

Cut a 1-15/16-inch SQUARE ceiling opening, allowing 4 inches above-ceiling clearance according to the model specification. For preconstruction work, Lotus lists a PS-156 26-inch flat rough-in plate; it is a separate accessory, not included in the fixture. Shop the Mini Tangra rough-in plate family; select PS-156. Verify the accessory's supplier minimum or case quantity when quoting a project.

Compliance note: The model is described as wet-location, Type IC and air-tight, but its one-page sheet does not establish a numerical IP rating, fire-resistance duration or underwater suitability. Installation must follow the current Lotus instructions and local electrical/building code.

How many L2F-SDT fixtures can share a 30W driver?

The manufacturer specifies a maximum of three 8W L2F-SDT fixtures on the 30W model; seven on 60W and twelve on 96W. Confirm conductor lengths and driver/control compatibility.

Is the 780-lumen output the same across CRI98 and all optics?

Not established. Lotus states up to 780 lumens at 4000K/CRI95 only. Exact variant-level lumen output requires the corresponding photometric report.

Is the driver or PS-156 plate included?

No. Each is a separately ordered component. The fixture variant contains the selected finish, optical choice and CRI grade.
