- Trim finish: White (WH), Black (BK), Oil Rubbed Bronze (BR), Alzak (AZ), or White/Black Duo (WB). The finish shown in the selected image is a visual reference; the SKU is the source of truth for ordering.
- Optic and nominal beam: RC25 = clear-glass reflector, 25°; RC40 = clear-glass reflector, 40°; RF40 = frosted-glass reflector, 40°. A frosted 25° option is not listed for this family.
- LED choice: 5C95 = five selectable CCTs, CRI95; 5C98 = five selectable CCTs, CRI98. CRI grade is tied to the variant, not one universal product-level value.
Selection guidance: Start with the architect's finish schedule, then choose 25° when a narrower beam is specified or 40° when a wider listed beam is required. Select clear or frosted reflector by the required appearance. Choose CRI95 or CRI98 as specified by the project. The model is fixed; choose a Tangra gimbal family if field aiming is required.

Driver and dimming compatibility — sold separately
This is a 24V DC fixture, not a direct line-voltage downlight. Compatible Lotus Mini Tangra drivers accept 120-277V input and provide 5-in-1 dimming down to 0.1%, as listed in the L1F-RDT sheet. The separate driver is not included with a fixture SKU.

Cutout, rough-in plate and installation planning
The L1F-RDT specification explicitly calls for a 1-3/8-inch round fixture cutout and 3 inches of space above the ceiling. Verify those dimensions against the ceiling assembly and current installation instructions before cutting.
For preconstruction, Lotus lists the PR-138 accessory — a 26-inch flat rough-in plate. It is a separate product and the distributor's published order minimum is five pieces. See Lotus Mini Tangra rough-in plates; select PR-138.
The sheet lists Type IC, air-tight and wet-location suitability; it does not establish an open-plenum rating, an IP numeric grade, a fire-resistance duration or an installation-specific dimmer approval. Do not infer those from other Tangra products.
Which Lotus downlight should you choose instead?
- L1F-SDT: 1-inch fixed square deep-regressed thin-trim model.

Is the driver included in the price?
No. Each L1F-RDT orderable SKU is a fixture configuration; a properly sized Lotus 24V 5-in-1 driver and any PR-138 rough-in plates are separate line items.
Is 470 lumens guaranteed for CRI98 or for every CCT?
No. The manufacturer's published up-to-470-lumen figure applies at 4000K and CRI95. Photometric output for CRI98 and other configurations must be confirmed separately if a lighting calculation depends on the precise number.
How do I verify the correct SKU for a project?
Choose trim finish, optic/beam and CRI in the variant picker, and use the resulting complete manufacturer SKU and UPC on drawings, quotations and purchase orders. The product photo alone does not identify the optical combination.
Is the fixture in stock and ready to ship?
Lotus's October 2026 new-products announcement indicated November 2026 as its planned stocking period. That announcement does not confirm Simply Controlled on-hand stock, current supplier availability or an exact shipping date.
