Quick choice: The Lotus LE4R-24V is a 4-inch round, ultra-thin recessed LED panel/downlight designed for low-voltage ceilings, showers and soffits. Its exceptionally slim ½-inch fixture thickness and required ceiling clearance offer flexibility where a deep recessed fixture would not fit; Lotus specifically describes installation directly beneath joists. It is not the deeper LE4RR-24V glare-recessed model.

5CCT: This hardware allows field selection among 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, holding the selected white temperature during ordinary compatible dimming.
Dim-to-warm (3018K): This is a different LED-engine SKU that shifts from warm white at 3000K toward 1800K as it dims; it is not five-position 5CCT. Both technologies are offered in white and black.
Manufacturer light-output reference by colour setting
Lotus provides the following family-level technical table for LE4R-24V. These values identify the stated CCT/light-engine test condition, not independently verified lumens for both trim finishes or the entire dimming curve. Consult SKU-specific photometric data when light output is critical to the design.

24V power supply and 5-in-1 dimming — sold separately
Important: LE4R-24V requires 24V DC constant-voltage supply and must not be wired directly to household or commercial AC mains. For the manufacturer-specified 5-in-1 dimming down to 1%, choose one of the compatible Lotus KVE 24V drivers. The manufacturer's compatible driver models are separately purchased; do not assume an external power supply is included with the fixture.

Shop compatible Lotus 24V KVE 5-in-1 dimmable drivers. Lotus specifies parallel daisy-chain fixture wiring. The 2/5/8 maxima are specific to this 11W model; final counts still depend on circuit layout, voltage drop, wiring, control system and applicable electrical code. Other compliant power supplies are not validated for the stated 1% KVE dimming performance by this sheet.
New-construction rough-in and trim accessories
Use the 4–4¼-inch round cutout and snap-in spring clips. The manufacturer lists the following optional, separately sold accessories for project installations:
- FRP4: flanged rough-in with hanger bars (manufacturer calls this a 4⅛-inch-hole accessory).
- RIP414: 26-inch flat rough-in plate.
- MP4-2: 13-inch flat rough-in plate.
- MP4: 13-inch flanged rough-in plate.
- GR4: white goof ring, 5¾-inch outside diameter.
- GR4-BK: black goof ring, 5¾-inch outside diameter.
These components, the external power supply and any installation accessories are not part of the fixture's base price. Do not assume that the 1-inch/2-inch Mini Tangra PR/PS plates elsewhere in the catalogue match this larger 4-inch fixture.

Choose LE4R-24V when shallow above-ceiling space and broad 110° distribution matter. Choose LE4RR-24V when a deeper recessed source and narrower 90° beam are preferred.
Frequently asked purchasing questions
Can this fit under a ceiling joist?
Lotus lists ½-inch thickness and ½-inch ceiling clearance and specifically describes installation directly under joists. Confirm the final ceiling assembly, wiring and power-supply placement using the manufacturer's installation directions.
What is the difference between 5CCT and dim-to-warm?
5CCT allows selecting one of five white temperatures. 3018K dim-to-warm uses a different light engine that becomes warmer as it dims toward 1800K. Both come in white or black. They are not the same hardware SKU.
Is the driver included?
No external power supply is listed as included. Supply properly matched 24V DC. The manufacturer names compatible Lotus KVE drivers for 5-in-1 dimming to 1%, sold separately.
Will it deliver 900 lumens at every setting?
No. The manufacturer lists 900 lumens at the 3500K reference, with other lumen values for other CCTs and 840 lumens for the dim-to-warm line. Outputs are not specified separately for every finish and dimming setting.
Is it wet-location rated?
Lotus lists IP54, wet location, Type IC and air-tight. This does not imply a product can be submerged, nor replace the current installation or electrical-code requirements.
When will it ship?
Lotus's October 2026 new-product announcement identified December 2026 as the intended LE4R-24V release period. This supplier forecast is not verified Shopify inventory or a guaranteed delivery date. Check current availability before promising a project schedule.
