2-in-1 PoE to USB Adapter | 802.3af/at/bt to USB-A & USB-C (45W)
The POEJK-USB is a 2-in-1 PoE to USB adapter that takes 802.3af/at/bt PoE from a Gigabit Ethernet connection and converts it into USB power over USB-A and USB-C. It allows you to use your existing PoE infrastructure to power and fast-charge compatible USB devices instead of adding local power supplies.
According to the GRID price list, this adapter supports “Standard Fast Charge, 45W”, making it suitable for higher-power USB-C devices within that power envelope.
Key features
- 2-in-1 PoE to USB adapter – combines Gigabit Ethernet with PoE power conversion for USB.
- 802.3af/at/bt support – works with PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (per price-list description).
- USB-A and USB-C outputs – provides USB power via both connector types (per product title).
- Up to 45W output – supports standard fast-charge up to 45W (per price-list description).
- Gigabit Ethernet – designed for use on Gigabit LAN links.

Ideal applications
- Using existing PoE drops to power or charge compatible USB-powered devices at the edge.
- Reducing the number of AC outlets and wall-warts in work areas and kiosks.
- Supplying up to 45W of USB power from a PoE++ switch in GRID DC microgrid designs.
Compatibility & ecosystem
The POEJK-USB is part of the GRID PoE adapter family, alongside products such as POEJK-USB-C and POEJK-USB-i. It is intended to work with GRID PoE switches and other 802.3af/at/bt sources, providing a PoE-powered USB output where you need it.
Install & design notes
- Connect the RJ45 side to a compatible 802.3af/at/bt PoE port on a GRID switch or injector.
- Use the USB-A or USB-C connector (as appropriate) to power a compatible USB device; design within the 45W output rating.
- For specific USB fast-charge profiles and device compatibility, refer to the latest GRID documentation for POEJK-USB.
Canada-ready checklist
- ✓ Ideal for Canadian offices, kiosks, POS stations and digital signage that already rely on PoE cabling.
- ✓ Helps reduce AC receptacle clutter in retrofit projects by shifting power delivery onto the PoE network.
