Choose the correct 24V undercabinet driver: The Lotus KV2-24015 family is a 15W-rated Class 2, constant-voltage 24V DC hardwired LED power-supply family specified by Lotus for the LBL-UCB-4-5CCT-ND undercabinet LED bars. Both versions accept 120–277V AC, 50/60Hz mains and work with compatible TRIAC / ELV / MLV phase dimmers, but they have different physical packaging, junction-box arrangements and lower ambient operating limits. No luminaires are included with either driver.

Selection rule: Order TDWJ if the specified fixture installation needs the manufacturer-designed driver-in-J-box format with ground lead and four knockouts. Choose TDW only where a separate approved electrical enclosure/wiring arrangement can be provided as required; the TDW is not a pre-enclosed junction box. The differing low-temperature limits must not be conflated.

Correct driver load and matching LED bars
Lotus identifies LBL-UCB-4-5CCT-ND as the intended undercabinet bar family. Confirm the combined actual load of the intended bars, conductor limits, dimmer compatibility and wiring plan. The specified acceptable 1.5–12W LED load supersedes interpreting 15W nameplate output as permissible 15W operating LED load. Do not substitute this small phase-dimmable KV2 for a KVE 24V 5-in-1 driver or use a 12V-only LED fixture. The customer should choose the electrical enclosure style independently of wattage because both share nominal 15W ratings.
Installation and safety
Qualified electrical installation required. 120–277V AC connects to the AC input, while 24V constant-voltage LED bars connect on the low-voltage output. Follow the model's wiring diagram, temperature derating curve, manufacturer-recommended wire routing and electrical codes. The TDWJ has the integrated J-box with four knockouts and ground lead; TDW's super-compact body does not imply an included J-box.
Buyer FAQs
Why is a 15W driver limited to 12W?
Lotus publishes a recommended min/max LED operating load of 10% to 80%, equivalent to 1.5W–12W. Rated maximum capacity and specified design load are not interchangeable.
Does the bare driver include a junction box?
No. KV2-24015-TDWJ is the model specifically supplied in a J-box. Select based on installation requirements.
Can both be used in the same cold environment?
No. The standalone TDW specifies −40°C minimum, while the enclosed TDWJ specifies −20°C minimum; both specify +50°C maximum.
Is there a 0–10V or five-mode dimming feature?
Not on these sheets. The KV2 family specifies TRIAC / ELV / MLV phase dimming from 5%–100%, rather than KVE's five control interfaces.
Are LED light bars or a wall dimmer included?
No. Each variant is one driver; lighting bars and the external dimming control are separate.
