Monitor Audio Bronze 300 7G is the flagship floorstanding loudspeaker in the Bronze Series 7G. Sold as a manufacturer-defined pair, it is a passive 2.5-way design built around two 6-inch C-CAM drivers and a 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter with UD Waveguide, with a rear-ported HiVe II enclosure and dedicated floorstanding hardware.
Within the two 6-inch driver system, Monitor Audio identifies one driver as bass-mid and the second as a dedicated bass driver. The result is a larger-scale Bronze platform with a current published in-room response of 34 Hz–30 kHz, 88 dB sensitivity, 118 dB maximum peak SPL and 150 W continuous power handling.

What makes the Bronze 300 7G different?
The Bronze 300 7G uses a 2.5-way crossover architecture. Its dedicated bass driver reinforces the low-frequency range while the bass-mid driver continues upward through the midrange before handing over to the C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. Monitor Audio publishes crossover points at 470 Hz between the low-frequency and mid-frequency sections and 2.6 kHz between the mid-frequency and high-frequency sections.
The 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter works with Monitor Audio's Uniform Dispersion waveguide, while the rear HiVe II port is tuned to 38 Hz. Current Canadian distributor data also identifies real-wood / ply front-baffle construction and magnetic cloth grilles for the Bronze range.

The speaker remains an 8-ohm nominal design. The 4-ohm recommendation describes the amplifier's rated-output condition used by Monitor Audio, not a selectable 4-ohm operating mode on the speaker. Amplifier choice should therefore consider the amplifier manufacturer's stated load capability, available current and multichannel operating conditions where applicable—not headline wattage alone.
Placement guidance
Monitor Audio recommends starting the Bronze 300 7G approximately 20–36 cm from the rear wall. Because the cabinet is rear ported, avoid crowding it tightly into corners or directly against the wall, where boundary reinforcement can make bass excessive. Final spacing and toe-in should be adjusted for the actual room and listening position.

Bronze 300 7G or Bronze 50 7G?
Both models use current Bronze 7G C-CAM driver and Gold Dome tweeter technology, but they serve different physical requirements. Bronze 300 7G is the floorstanding model with two 6-inch drivers, a 34 Hz published in-room low-frequency limit and 118 dB maximum peak SPL. Bronze 50 7G is the smaller bookshelf / stand-mount model with one 6-inch driver, a 41 Hz published in-room low-frequency limit and 112 dB maximum peak SPL. Choose between them primarily on cabinet format, placement and the output / low-frequency capability required by the system rather than assuming one specification alone determines sound quality.
Dolby Atmos expansion
For a Bronze 7G home-theatre system, the Bronze AMS 7G is explicitly designed by Monitor Audio to sit on top of the Bronze 300 7G and add Dolby Atmos-enabled height channels when used with compatible AV electronics and system configuration.
